Copper Coin Ballet Company: Leap Into Lincoln
This unique 20 minute performance will be performed twice in one night. Once at 6:30pm and again at 7:30pm. Leap into Lincoln connects people, and dances and is an opportunity to experience, firsthand, the various styles of dance in Abraham Lincoln’s lifetime. This is a Free event.

About the event
A very special 20 minute ballet performance with two time options to experience! One at 6:30pm and another at 7:30pm.
Leap into Lincoln connects people, events, and dances and is an opportunity to experience, firsthand, the various styles of dance in Abraham Lincoln’s lifetime. Patrons will have the opportunity to watch Copper Coin dancers perform a variety of dance styles from 1809-1865, including ballets from the Romantic Era (La Sylphide, Giselle and Pas de Quatre), American folk dances and African slave dances. CCBC Artistic Director Julie Ratz will narrate the 20 minute dance program and its history.
