Sheridan House

Located one block from historic Petersburg's town square, this charming home welcomes you back in time to experience a slower pace of life. Walk the streets that Abraham Lincoln surveyed in 1836 and visit the Menard County Courthouse to see legal documents signed by Lincoln. Visit Petersburg's beautifully restored Broadgauge restaurant and bar, have coffee, yummy pastries or lunch at the Talisman. Close to 1st and 3rd Wine Bar and Hand of Fate Brewing as well.

Guests will have access to the entire house, which includes 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There are two primary King bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a Queen, and a Bunk room that sleeps 3. In addition, there is a daybed that sleeps 2 when the trundle is pulled out and the legs unfolded to full height. The house sleeps 11. There is a full, well-appointed kitchen and large dining room. An inviting front room/parlor awaits. A washer/dryer is available on premises for the convenience of our guests. The gardens are in the process of being restored.

Three Pines
510 W. Sheridan Rd - Petersburg
Three Pines, a beloved Petersburg landmark, is an Italianate-style mansion built in 1875 for Senator Edward Laning. It has been restored beautifully and boasts 8 suites that can sleep 26.

When you visit Three Pines, you will find it holds a place of composure on the top of the hill where Sheridan Road curves to preserve the beauty of the setting. The central hallway opens to large rooms, their ceilings ornamented with elaborate plaster work, and the suites and common areas have deep fire- places framed by marble mantels. Superb carpentry is evident in the walnut carved newel post, and in the walnut woodwork and staircase which extends to the third floor. You can find photos of the property here.

The Flat
Petersburg Illinois
1400 square feet of historic and eclectic charm. The Flat is a fabulous space located in a building dating back to the mid-1800’s. The "Flat" is situated on the west side of the courthouse square in downtown Petersburg. The old sandglass windows are the picture frame for the view of the historic county courthouse and square.
The Flat will comfortably sleep 6, with a queen bed for 2 in the master suite. A queen pull out for 2 is located in the urban loft area, along with a traditional sofa for one. The large walk in closet between the master suite and the master bath has a single roll-a-way bed that may be used alongside the master suite, common area or even in the massive walk-in closet.
The Flat has a complete kitchen with dishes, glassware, pots and pans, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher.
The Loft

A beautifully renovated second story loft apartment located on the square in historic Petersburg. The space offers an abundance of natural light with large windows that overlook the historic 1896 Menard County Courthouse and town square. The loft features a mix of charming character and modern amenities.

The Loft on the Square was recently completely renovated and is comfortably furnished for guests. This studio apartment includes a queen bed, a sofa bed and an ottoman that converts to a twin bed. The space comfortably sleeps 5 people. A washer and dryer is available in the unit and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to cook a meal. The kitchen features high- end GE stainless steel appliances. A cozy gas fireplace is located in the living room and the private deck in the back allows guests to get some fresh air. High speed internet, DirecTV, Apple TV, and a DVD player are included.
River Bank Lodge
