Free Concert: The Roastineers

The Roastineers are an acoustic trio with deep roots in Petersburg. All three members of the group were born and raised in Menard County and their original songs reflect that upbringing. Songwriter/Guitarist Kevin Atterberry, describes the band’s sound as, “occupying the space between Neil Young and Andy Griffith”. Guitarist Gary Park, takes a more refined approach to defining the bands’ sound, branding it “Prairie Rock”. Doug VanNattan’s mandolin rounds it all out to give the Roastineers the down-home feel of a front porch jamboree.
