Astrofix (EP Release Show)

Astrofix is currently made up of 4 members: Jamie Merideth (vocals, keys, guitar), Phil Cooper (guitar), Andy Jones (bass, vocals), and James Caruso (drums/ percussion). They each bring years of live experience to this powerhouse original band. They’ve had some very notable shows over the last few years; including multiple festivals (Legacy of Giving in Springfield, Turnerfest outside St Louis, and The Decatur Celebration), TV spots on CiLiving in Champaign, Radio spots on WSOY in Decatur and WEFT in Champaign, opening for Here Come the Mummies at The Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater in June 2021, as well as numerous clubs and venues throughout the Midwest. Their sound? Well, you really need to experience it for yourself. But, some have described it as Classic Rock with a Modern twist. They have a very distinct writing and playing style that draws you in to the world they've created. They'll make you laugh, cry, and love all in the same night.

They recorded and released their first full-length LP, Astrof1x,  in 2018. It includes songs written from 20 years ago through the time they were in the studio. They released 2  singles off their 2nd album, A2trofix, as well as the full LP, in 2021. Their 3rd project, the EP, TIDAL (dark), was released late 2022, with 2 singles released from it. All albums and singles are available on most streaming platforms. Their influences include (but are NOT limited to): Pink Floyd, Radiohead, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Allman Bros, My Morning Jacket, Led Zeppelin, and STP.
