CATERING SALES MANAGER
The primary role of a Catering Sales Manager involves generating revenue by initiating and developing quality leads through traditional and non-traditional sales techniques while assuring the highest level of customer service.
Responsibilities include: identifying business opportunities, training and managing catering staff (Banquet Captains, Servers, and Setup Crew), escorting tours, overseeing the sales performance of The Broadgauge, conducting catering sales presentations and catering sales calls.
Other important duties: booking, selling, planning and coordinating all events,
generating BEO’s, monitoring booking space, and conducting BEO meetings with department managers for clarification and review of details for flawless execution of upcoming events.
Depending on the complexity of the event, the Catering Sales Manager is on-site while staff members are setting up. He or she acts as a point of contact for the client, event planners, and outside vendors eventually introducing them to the assigned Banquet Captain to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Requirements
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in catering sales/services
Experience in the wedding market
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Technically proficient
Thorough and highly organized
A plus if part of an opening team
